To whom it may concern
After moving to the area from Suffolk in 2008, I struggled to find a trainer to match what I had in my last club – but I found him!! Never having being a fan of the gym, I had for the past few years enjoyed boxing whether it be some very basic sparring or working out with a bag. Not being able to find the right trainer I lost my motivation after a knee operation earlier in the year and struggled to get back into exercising. Kevin introduced me to a different angle to sparring in the form of Boxercise. I enjoy a half hour of Cardio through this, followed by either some circuit based exercise or some weights in the gym. I really enjoy the sessions and Kevin encourages me to keep going even when my arms feel like lead weights!!
Kevin is motivational, has a great sense of humour and is committed to helping his clients achieve their goals – tailoring sessions not only to be enjoyable but also targeted on the areas where improvement is needed – in my case a stronger knee and flatter stomach!! My partner now also trains with Kevin and is enjoying mastering the art of Boxercise
Whatever your reason for wanting to exercise whether it be to get fitter, loose weight or improve your general well being, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Kevin as someone who could help you achieve your goals.

I found Kevin quite by accident on the internet, I went to meet him with an open mind but not really thinking that I would finally find a trainer that would suit me.
I guess the embarrassment that I needed to loose weight had always found its way to the surface as an excuse with other trainers, but since I have been training with Kevin I have now found that not to be so true as I immediately felt at ease with him and had an instinct that I could truly benefit from paying someone to push me. The more I spoke to him in that first hour the more I liked and admired him, his obvious expertise was displayed throughout and his professionalism unmatched, to the point at which I felt comfortable enough to let him 'measure the excess' (a fearful but necessary evil i am afraid).
He is a very diverse trainer one that designed a fitness regime that truly suited me, that mainly being the joy of Boxercise. He continues to make all the sessions both one on one and group enjoyable and yet I have found myself being pushed harder without realising it. For someone who needs that kind of easy motivation I am constantly surprising myself.
I believe that I am probably one of the hardest people to keep motivated. But if you are reading this and have sympathy with me in that respect that you might also be like me when it comes to results. I wanted to loose permanent weight and within 6 weeks of 2 sessions a week and a reluctant reduction (please note that I said reduction not elimination) in my wine consumption and some healthy eating advice, I went down a dress size!
I'm not really being bothered about what the scales say I care more about what my clothes say, I feel that my progress is constantly tailored and what has probably mattered to me more that anything is that Kevin Dobson may well be more interested in my programme and its development than the money I hand over!
I wish Kevin all the success for many reasons but selfishly for changing my life and shape after eight years of excuses but also because I truly feel he deserves it
